common ones used by the Irish Government and the mainstream media to advance their propaganda surrounding Covid-19 are as follows:<\/p><p><strong><em>1: Argumentum ad populum definition: <\/em><\/strong>a\u00a0<a href=\"about:blank\">fallacious argument<\/a>\u00a0that concludes that a\u00a0<a href=\"about:blank\">proposition<\/a>\u00a0must be true because many or most people believe it<\/p><p><span style=\"background-color: var(--nv-site-bg); color: var(--nv-text-color); font-family: Graphik,-apple-system,BlinkMacSystemFont,Segoe UI,var(--nv-fallback-ff);\">To understand how the Government and mainstream media manipulate the Irish people via argumentum ad populum we will consider some (fully cited) facts surrounding the numbers of asymptomatic covid cases and the likelihood of these people transmitting infection to others:<\/span><\/p><p><strong>FACT #1:<\/strong> Director of the HPSC Dr <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.vn\/j8Vuf\">John Cuddihy<\/a> said: &#8220;According to the World Health Organization (WHO), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rte.ie\/news\/coronavirus\/2020\/0820\/1160389-antibodies-covid-19\/\">80% of all Covid-19 infections are mild or asymptomatic<\/a>\u201d<\/p><p><strong>FACT #2:<\/strong> To illustrate how transmissible asymptomatic people are consider this: In a post lockdown SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid screening in nearly ten million residents of Wuhan in China <strong>300 asymptomatic cases were discovered and <u>none<\/u> of the 1174 of their close contacts tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 <\/strong>\u2013 source citation <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/33219229\/\">here<\/a>\u00a0(go on, click on the link to verify what we are reporting is true)<\/p><p>HOLD UP FOR A SECOND, I KNOW YOU&#8217;RE IRISH AND ALERGIC TO THINKING BUT IT&#8217;S IMPORTANT THAT YOU THINK ABOUT THE ABOVE FOR A MINUTE. (you can read about that here:<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/truth-watch.today\/?p=1605\">The Fraudulent advocation of PCR testing as the \u201cGold-Standard\u201d for testing of Covid-19 and the Fraudulent discrediting of Lateral Flow Tests as inaccurate: FULLY REFERENCED HARD-EVIDENCE: \u2013 truth-watch.today<\/a>)<\/li><\/ul><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><p><em>2: <\/em><strong><em>Argumentum ad hominem Definition<\/em><\/strong>, refers to several types of arguments, most of which are\u00a0<a href=\"about:blank#Informal_fallacy\">fallacious<\/a>. Typically this term refers to a rhetorical strategy where the speaker attacks the character, motive, or some other attribute of the person making an argument rather than attacking the substance of the argument itself. This avoids genuine debate by creating a diversion to some irrelevant but often highly charged issue.<\/p><p>Ad-Hominem attacks within the context of Covid-19 are ubiquitous:<\/p><p>Homework for the reader: consider the definition of argumentum ad hominem and see how it is used in this <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.vn\/wVGCr\">Daily Mail Article<\/a><\/p><p><strong>A Typical Irish Example:<\/strong> rather than debate and counter the arguments of persons (even those with preeminent medical qualifications) that present hard scientific evidence that wearing masks is ineffective in curbing the spread of infectious disease, Government and mainstream media attack their character instead and insinuate that they are crazy by labelling them with pejorative appellations such as \u201cAnti-Masker conspiracy theorist\u201d \u2013 a classic ad hominem attack.<\/p><p>Government and mainstream media will not debate or even present the evidence that these people provide so Truth-Watch.Today will present it here to enable the Irish public to see the Ad Hominem trap that Government and MSM have set for them first hand:<\/p><p><strong>American Frontline Doctors (labelled as \u201canti-maskers\u201d) quote the <\/strong><strong>Medical Literature<\/strong><strong> on face masks (something Dail Eireann refuse to do) right\u00a0 <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.vn\/gkTB2\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a><\/p><p><strong>TWT adds some supplemental facts to boot:<\/strong><\/p><p>What is written in bold text below might as well have been written about the Irish people:<\/p><p>\u201cThe New England Journal of Medicine, April 1, 2020 www.NEJM.org It is also clear that masks serve symbolic roles. <strong>Masks <\/strong>are not only tools, they are also talismans that <strong>may help increase health care workers\u2019 perceived sense of safety, well-being, and trust in their hospitals. Although such reactions may not be strictly logical, we are all subject to fear and anxiety, especially during times of crisis. One might argue that fear and anxiety are better countered with data and education than with a marginally beneficial mask, particularly in light of the worldwide mask shortage, but it is difficult to get clinicians to hear this message in the heat of the current crisis. Expanded masking protocols\u2019 greatest contribution may be to reduce the transmission of anxiety, over and above whatever role they may play in reducing transmission of Covid-19\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p><p>And from the Federally funded CDC:<\/p><p><strong>\u201cMasks do not prevent virus respiratory illness. Size matters! Viruses are 50x smaller than bacteria and 1000x smaller than a hair size of bacteria = 5 micrometer (5 \u03bcm) size of particles in wood smoke (wildfire): 0.4-0.7 micrometers (0.5 \u03bcm) size of virus = 0.1 micrometer (Influenza and SARS-CoV-2) (0.1 \u03bcm) comparison: human hair is 100 micrometers (100 \u03bcm) (one million micrometers = one meter) <\/strong><\/p><p><strong>CDC: \u201cCloth masks do not catch small harmful particles in smoke.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Source data for the above from American Frontline Doctors:\u00a0<\/strong><a style=\"background-color: var(--nv-site-bg); font-family: Graphik,-apple-system,BlinkMacSystemFont,Segoe UI,var(--nv-fallback-ff);\" href=\"https:\/\/archive.vn\/gkTB2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/archive.vn\/gkTB2<\/a><\/p><p>And to put things in further perspective we have this next paragraph:<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.vn\/ywfvA\">Virus particles are orders of magnitude smaller than smoke particles but masks do not protect from smoke:<\/a>\u201cCloth masks will not protect you from wildfire smoke. Cloth masks that are used to slow the spread of COVID-19 by blocking respiratory droplets offer little protection against wildfire smoke. They do not catch small, harmful particles in smoke that can harm your health\u201d<\/p><p>and<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.vn\/LYQbu\">Danish Study proves ineffectiveness of facemasks<\/a>\u00a0but Governments around the world are suggesting you wear two of three of them.<\/p><p><strong>3: Argument from authority<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>(<em>argumentum ab auctoritate<\/em>),<\/strong> also is a form of\u00a0<a href=\"about:blank\">argument<\/a>\u00a0in which the opinion of an authority on a topic is used as evidence to support an argument.<\/p><p>The Irish Government present the NPHET as the <em>only<\/em> authority worth consulting on the merits or otherwise of Covid-19 restrictions but never debates professional advice to the contrary from people [whose qualifications far exceed the of members of NPHET] that organised the <a href=\"https:\/\/gbdeclaration.org\/view-signatures\/\">Great Barrington Declaration<\/a>. At the time of writing this medical declaration has garnered over 50,000 signatures of medical &amp; public health scientists and Doctors. Are you curious enough dear reader to look at the qualifications against each signature for yourself? The list shows that these are 50,000 people with unassailable qualifications. But the Irish people won\u2019t hear anything from them via government or MSM because the argument in favour of Covid-19 restrictions comes from NPHET whom the Government and Mainstream media have set upon a higher level of authority than the moral and professional integrity of the Barrington Declaration signees. If the Irish public had the chance to weigh the professional advice of these 50,000 against the advice of NPHET there wouldn\u2019t be any mask wearing, social distancing or lockdown.<\/p><p>Consider this: There is no historical precedent for a medical declaration to garner as many supporting signatures of qualified medical professionals as the Great Barrington Declaration and the people that signed to support it jeopardize their very careers in doing so.
